UFASS Reporting module This module is for users to use UFASS for financial reporting only. Since some users may have their own accounting system integrated with other applications, they may need the financial reporting of UFASS to meet the new standards only. In this case, what is the most important thing is periodical data migration. That relies on some criteria: a. their existing system must have the function to export the journal or ledger data in c.s.v. format with constant order of fields; b. their accounting practice must be in line with new standards; it depends on the choice whether the migrated data is journal or ledger to decide which UFASS functions will remain in effect. Certainly, the SME-FRS (HK) or GFRS (Macau) will be the priority. There may be two possible outcome of this arrangement. First, it may be employed for a long time. That means the client will continue to use their previous system and only need the reporting. Second, it may be for a transitional period so that the client will upgrade to our coming modules like Trading, Retail etc. As for pure accounting works, if clients need to have their previous accounting data to be migrated. That can be arranged with the Accounting Module instead. Of course, data migration will be subject to additional service charges. This module has fewer functions, yet with the work for the set up and testing for data transfer, it is better to avoid complication and to keep the same price for both modules.
